GEN topics updated 2021–22

This GEN release provides content improvement and 2021–22 data updates to three GEN topic pages:

• People using aged care;
• Providers, services and places in aged care;
• Spending on aged care
• Pathways in aged care (updated to 2019–20).

Trends in aged care service use are presented through text-based summaries and interactive visualisations, and accompanied by brief fact sheets and downloadable data. These data are primarily drawn from the National Aged Care Data Clearinghouse (NACDC) and Pathways in aged care link map, as well as from other published reports (e.g. Report on the Operation of the Aged Care Act; Report on Government Services).
