Summary

Provisionally allocated (PA) places are places which have been allocated but are not yet operational and are not unused. (Unused residential aged care places are places which have been operational in the past, but as at 30 June 2017 are not providing care due to reasons such as renovations or rebuilding of residential aged care facilities and the provider is receiving no Australian Government subsidy for these places.)

These maps display the number of PA mainstream residential aged care places by Statistical Areas Level 3 (SA3). Places data are sourced from the 30 June 2017 Stocktake of Australian Government Subsidised Aged Care Places. SA3 boundaries are sourced from the Australian Bureau of Statistics – Australian Statistical Geography Standard 2016.

The maps are provided in PDF form in zip files.
