Series: Financial Report on the Australian Aged Care Sector

The Department releases annual reports on the financial performance of the Australian aged care sector. They include analysis of residential care, home care, and Commonwealth Home Support Program providers, and projections on future trends for the aged care sector. The reports are predominantly produced through use of data submitted annually by aged care providers through the Aged Care Financial Report.

These reports increase transparency so older people can understand how the aged care sector is performing. Providers can also use the report to compare their own financial performance with sector-level results.
