Financial report on the Australian aged care sector

These reports provide analysis of the financial performance of the Australian aged care sector over the financial year. It is produced through use of data submitted annually by aged care providers through the Aged Care Financial Report, such as income, expenses, cash flow statements and assessments. The information reported is dependent on the type of provider, such as residential aged care, home care, multi-purpose services and respite care, and the accuracy of the data submitted. 

The data shows how much is spent on care, nursing, food, maintenance, cleaning and administration and profits at the sector level. The report provides an insight into the financial performance of the aged care sector, including identifying industry trends.
